Fashion Editor's Tip | Louboutin Rehab
My job at the magazine keeps me on my toes. Literally. Last fall, I bought two pairs of Christian Louboutin ankle boots and by February I had worn them both into the ground. I had been putting off having them resoled because my shoe repairman uses black rubber replacement soles — and we all know that the beauty of Louboutins is the scarlet undercarriage. I shared my predicament with my friend Ruth, who in turn introduced me to her shoe repairman, Ariel Castellanos. After a one-day turnaround, and $26, my Louboutins look as good — and red — as new. 62nd Street Shoe Store 141 East 62nd Street (212) 829-0778 M-F: 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sat: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Karla M.
