Dr. Anne Cahill is a heart surgeon who uses the latest surgical techniques to treat complex cardiac diseases. She performs transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral, tricuspid and aortic valve repair and/or replacement, coronary artery bypass grafting, aortic aneurysm repair, repair of aberrant coronary artery anatomy. She collaborates with other specialists, such as interventional cardiologists, to determine whether surgery is the best treatment option for the patient and offers post-surgery follow-up care in her outpatient clinic. Dr. Cahill engages in clinical research of new cardiac surgery treatments. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Cahill is a member of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation (UNOS), American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, and a counselor of the American College of Cardiology. She is a speaker for the American Heart Association.
