Description
Eagle Creek National Fish Hatchery | U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service
Eagle Creek National Fish Hatchery raises 1.5 million coho salmon yearly for on-site release into Eagle Creek, and to support coho restoration programs run by the Yakama Indian Nation and Nez Perce Tribe. The coho program operates as a segregated harvest program within the Clackamas and Eagle Creek watersheds, with returning hatchery-origin adults used exclusively for broodstock.
