Hecho Gallery focuses on art at the intersection of innovation and tradition. We work primarily with artists based in New Mexico and Oaxaca. Hecho’s goal is to create deep roots of support for artists and exhibit art that is both accessible and genre-defying. Our historic building at 129 W Palace Ave has been home to Santa Fe stars such as Leonora Curtin’s Native Market in the early 1930’s and The Elaine Horwich Gallery in the 80’s and 90’s. Our sister gallery, Hecho a Mano, works with printmakers, ceramicists and jewelers from New Mexico and Mexico showcasing affordable art at 830 Canyon Road.
