Kevin J. Martin, MD - SLUCare Physician Group

Dr. Kevin Martin specializes in general and interventional nephrology, providing treatment for chronic kidney disease, mineral and bone disorders, parathyroid disorders, hypertension, and disorders of phosphorus metabolism.   He applies the latest medical advancements in his practice, including the placement and maintenance of vascular access for dialysis, the placement of peritoneal dialysis catheters, and kidney biopsy. Research interests include bone and mineral metabolism, and the role of vitamin D in vascular calcification. Dr. Martin is a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.  A fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nephrology, and the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, Dr. Martin is also a member of the International Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Clinical Investigation. In his free time, he enjoys music and tennis.
