Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park is surrounded by perhaps the most beautiful woods in western Kentucky. Named for the tiny Pennyroyal plan found in the area, the park is the perfect back-to-nature hideaway in the midst of a secluded, lush forest. Pennyrile Forest State Park Golf Course was expanded to a full 18-holes in 2003. This rural course lies at the bottom of a small valley surrounded by rolling hills.
