Rocky Point Fire Department covers about 48 square miles including Rocky Point, Shoreham, Inc. Village of Shoreham and 6800 acre New York State Forest Preserve. On the north side of the District is 7 miles of beach front on the Long Island Sound. Rocky Point is located 65 miles east of New York City on Long Island's Eastern North Shore. We serve a population of about 30,000 people for Fire and Ambulance service. The Rocky Point Fire Department has 3 Stations.
