Bakr Salem, MD, is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine at Cardiac Specialists of St. Luke’s. Dr. Salem received his medical degree from Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. He received his cardiology training at Baylor Medical School, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and Texas Heart Institute in Houston. Dr. Salem is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Physicians and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Salem is an interventionalist and can perform cardiac catheterizations and percutaneous coronary interventions, coronary angioplasty and stents. Dr. Salem offers services in English and Arabic.
