From our gracious servers to our venerated chefs, we want to make sure your visit won’t be your last. The bin started from a trip to Italy to visit family in 2001 and two years later bin228 Panini and Wine bar in downtown Hartford was born! In 2016 we launched our second location bin228 Wine bar and Gastropub. Including some of the favorites from our downtown menu. We go beyond the expected to make you feel welcome and pampered. Our waitstaff is friendly, and fully knowledgeable of our extensive wine, beer and craft cocktail list to help you make the perfect selection. Our cuisine is prepared by bin228’s dedicated chefs who take enormous pride in the preparation and presentation of each plate. We are a scratch kitchen making everything from our dressing and sauces to dessert. The food menu is eclectic, it's a lot of our favorite foods from all over. We created it to be fun, flavorful and not a lot of fuss! When you view the wine list at bin228, you’ll find over 45 fine wines to enjoy by the glass with even more available by the bottle!
