Please keep a fire extinguisher and water handy at all times, and adhere to these guidelines: In the City of Dupont it is only legal to discharge fireworks on July 3rd and July 4th between 12 noon and 12 midnight. It is illegal to discharge fireworks on any public property including streets, sidewalks, ROA green spaces, alleyways and public parks. It is also illegal to discharge fireworks on any private property without the express consent of the property owner. Roman Candles, cones and fountains, reloadable tubes and multiple aerials are legal in DuPont. Illegal fireworks in DuPont are firecrackers, bottle rockets, individual missiles and rockets, cherry bombs and any altered or homemade fireworks.
