Eric D. Thomas, MD, works with both patients and resident physicians as part of the WK Academic Internal Medicine Clinic. As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Thomas treats patients with diseases like diabetes and upstream conditions like high blood sugar, obesity, high blood pressure and high total cholesterol. Any one or combination of these conditions can increase one’s risk for diabetes, stroke and heart disease. Dr. Thomas believes in a personalized outpatient treatment experience for every person that can prevent the need for hospital admission.
