Fire & Emergency Services :: Fort McCoy

The Fort McCoy Fire Department is an Internationally Accredit Agency. The Department protects and serves the installation community. The department is aligned under the Directorate of Emergency Services and is staffed by Department of the Army civilian employees who serve as firefighters, fire officers and fire inspectors. On average, the department responds to more than 900 calls for service each year. Response scenarios include structural fires, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, auto accidents, aircraft mishaps, wildland fires, technical rescues, alarm activations and more. The department operates out of two strategically located fire stations, which are staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
