City of Three Forks

Welcome to the City of Three Forks' webpage! The City of Three Forks is a 3rd Class city near the Headwaters of the Missouri River. Three Forks was incorporated in 1911, and is home to roughly 1,900 residents today. The City is run on a charter-form of government. We offer wastewater services to the entire town, and water services to most of the town. We will finish extending our water lines to the few remaining blocks without it in the summer of 2017. Business within the City is required to obtain a business license. The City has a municipal code of ordinances which defines the rest of the processes including public health & safety, business, revenue and finances, motor vehicles, public right-of-ways, law enforcement regulations, building, zoning and floodplain.
