Justin D. Rothmier M.D. | UW Medicine

Justin D. Rothmier, M.D. is board-certified in family medicine with sub-specialization in sports medicine. He is the Medical Director of Ambulatory Services at the UW Medical Center - Northwest and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Washington. Dr. Rothmier's clinical interests include adolescent throwing injuries, musculoskeletal ultrasound, platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections, athletic-related hip and groin pain and sports cardiology. Dr. Rothmier acts as team physician for a variety of professional and school sports teams, including Seattle Pacific University Athletics, Shorewood High School and the Rat City Roller Girls. He previously spent 11 years as a physician for the Seattle Mariners. Dr. Rothmier served as the venue physician at the Tokyo Dome for the World Baseball Classic in 2017. He is also an active volunteer for the Nick of Time Foundation.
