Sacred Heart on the Lake, a ministry of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, was established in 1964 as a respite for the Sisters. It is now also a hospitality and retreat ministry. The Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an international Congregation of women religious founded in Italy by Blessed Clelia Merloni in 1894.
